Then Sings my soul Saturdays - I Still Believe
I still believe oh Lord.
Scattered words and empty thoughts
Seem to pour from my heart
I've never felt so torn before
Seems I don't know where to start
But its now that I feel your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
Though the questions still fog up my mind
With promises I still seem to bear
Even when answers slowly unwind
It's my heart I see you prepare
But its now, that I feel, your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
Well the only place I can go is into your arms
Where I throw to you my feeble prayers well in brokenness
I can see that this was your will for me
Help me to know that you are near
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
I still believe (repeat 8 X's)
Ohhh, I still believe, I still believe

Missing Phantom of the Opera
(where one can conveniently access and get their favorite movies, videos, music, and so many more for free!), I finally got my ever-favorite and of which I missed very much, a Broadway theater and had its latest movie in 2004, the timeless beauty of music and theatrical arts: The Phantom Of The Opera! A novel by French writer Gaston Leroux. According to Wikipedia, "The musical is now the longest running Broadway show in history, and one of the most lucrative entertainment enterprises of all time." Currently listening to all of the musical pieces. I so love it!!!

Sailing and Steering Still
Facebook feVer
I just would like to share some thoughts to ponder in reminding us towards our daily management of time, resources (electricity and the like!) and the responsibility of our freedom in handling words and expressions. We ought to be the one managing it than it managing us. We should then be stewards of it and use it for the good.

Sounding SundaY
Browsing through pictures from my friendster account, I managed to stumble upon this picture. And upon seeing it, I felt how I missed playing the Kumintang which is a traditional and historical type of instrument originating from the culture here in Mindanao, which various tribes use it in music, dances, customs and the like. I loved playing it especially when it is blended to play with the 'Agong' of which I had a chance to play too. I just reminisced the beauty of Ethnic element, its art, the colors, the embodied unique culture, and the lives of the people in it.
Wishing that someday I could play these musical pieces again (I already forgot some of the rhythms and beats!),
but anyhow, my heart for cultural and ethnic music still lives on.
Here are the pictures of my Rondalla days! In these pictures, I am holding a Banduria instrument. The Banduria is one of the 5 musical instruments in a Rondalla ensemble. This instrument plays a lead role in its piece beautifully blending with all the others namely the Laud, Octavina, Guitar, and the Bajo de Arco. The Rondalla group is popularly known on the cultural context, its music in dances such as Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Pasiguin, Tinikling and a whole lot! I couldn't express more how I miss playing them. Maybe one of these days, if ever I'll get a chance to hold them, I will never let them go..(^^,)
These, therefore speak how music is integral in my very life.

FreedOm Friday-Resume of Brownout!
It's Friday! the last day of the weekdays but the start of brown-outs again! Well, as consumers, we can't do anything about it. The Cepalco, which is our light and electricity management office, gives us no choice but to follow. The Water has run dry already, well not that dry though, but it isn't enough to power the houses it supplies. Not enough force to power the turbines through the dams.
This, therefore, calls a major responsibility on us. Save Water, Save Electricity. If we abuse too much and be lenient in that aspect, we are also the recipients of our very own actions-we get what we sow.
So let us help Mother Nature and help ourselves as well. Re-Use, Reduce, and Recycle!

the Sacrifice
Finally! After years and years, well, not that literal though, an over exaggerated thought, but woohoo, thank God, we now have an internet connection!
But it came with a price, not literally, although the point comes too (lol!), and yes it came with a price of sacrifice of all my precious files wiped out! As in vanished into thin air, gone with the wind, asta labista! huhuhu.. Yes, sadly, my computer was reformatted in order for the internet connection to work out=(.
But then, Life must move on. I must move on. All those files, documents, pictures, and videos were of value to me, but hey! What can I do, choose the better evil ei? Ha! Anyway,
This sacrifice was with a purpose.
Sacrifice one so that you can have the better part. Can be related to Life itself right?
Sacrifices are inevitable and must be done with a firm choice. And not just that, it is coupled with having to know, understand, and face the consequences behind it. Painful it can be, but as the military saying goes: "No pain, no gain!" Life may have its sacrifices, but it certainly has some meaning to which we sometimes, do not understand with our humanly considerations.
